The plain terms.

What UNDUE is, what it is not, what $19 buys, and how to get your money back.

Last updated September 22, 2026

Refunds: 14 days, no questions.

If you bought the letter pack in the last 14 days and want your money back, email support@reducethisbill.com from the address you used at checkout, or include it in the message. You don’t need to give a reason. We refund the full $19 to the card or account you paid with. Banks usually post it within 5–10 business days.

Who runs UNDUE.

UNDUE is operated by Brad Powell, doing business as UNDUE (“we”, “us”) at reducethisbill.com. Card statements show REDUCETHISBILL.COM. Questions go to support@reducethisbill.com.

What UNDUE is.

An educational drafting tool. You enter details about your own hospital bill, and UNDUE produces letter templates and a worksheet you can edit, print, sign, and send yourself. It also summarizes each state’s hospital billing rules.

What UNDUE is not.

  • Not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
  • Not a medical billing advocate, and it does not act for you.
  • Not a debt settlement, debt relief, or credit repair service. We never contact your hospital, insurer, or any collector, and we never negotiate on your behalf.
  • No promised result. Hospitals decide their own assistance applications, and whether a bill goes down depends on them, your situation, and the law.

What $19 buys.

One letter, the itemized bill request, is always free. A one-time $19 payment unlocks the full letter pack and the prefilled filing packet for one bill, identified by its state, hospital, and amount. Changing any of those means a different bill and a new pack.

Your unlock is saved in your browser. If you lose it, whether you cleared your browser, switched devices, or it expired after 30 days, open the same bill and choose “Already paid? Restore it” with the email you paid with.

Payment.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe and never reaches UNDUE. Stripe keeps your email and payment record, and we use it only to confirm your purchase and restore access.

Your information.

You’re responsible for what you type in: names, amounts, income, and anything else. UNDUE uses it to build your letters and does not store your case file on its servers. It stays in your browser until you clear it. Details are in the privacy policy.

State information can change.

State summaries and poverty figures were compiled in October 2026. Laws, hospital policies, and guidelines change. Check the hospital’s current financial assistance policy before you rely on a specific number. The 50-state desk is a starting point, not the last word.

Limits.

UNDUE is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for how a hospital, insurer, or collector responds to your letters, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.

Changes and law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the refund window that applies is the one in effect on the day you paid. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
